    Match Report - 09 - SuperSport United vs Apex United

    SuperSport were the clear favourites to win and they showed this by starting the game like a house on fire. SuperSport scored the first goal after just 10 touches from play before the opposition even touched the ball with a fine finish by Romano Tarentaal in the 1st minute of play.

    SuperSport United continued their dominance throughout the match and doubled their lead through fantastic teamwork which resulted in Simon Nqoli calmly placing the ball inside the net from close range.

    The game went to the halfway break with SuperSport United leading Apex United by 2 goals to nothing.

    SuperSport United didn’t waste any time in searching for the 3rd goal and their efforts paid off as they managed to get the goal as early as the 36th minute courtesy of a long range strike by Manoke Noge.

    Apex United were growing in confidence as the game progressed and they forced a save from the SuperSport goalkeeper as they managed their first shot on target of the game, if not of the tournament.

    SuperSport United demolished all hope contained by the players of Apex United as they scored the 4th goal of the match courtesy of Sipho Mbule leaving Apex United with no hope of coming back.

    SuperSport were the eventual winners of the game by 4 goals to nothing against minors Apex United.
