    Harrison leaves Arrows

Golden Arrows have parted ways with their second manager this season, with Mark Harrison relieved of his duties on Monday.

The Englishman's exit does not come as a surprise considering Arrows' plight this term and given Harrison's absence during their clash with Polokwane City on Saturday it appeared clear that his tenure was set to end.

Arrows released a brief statement on their website confirming a change in management.

"The club and Mr Mark Harrison have agreed to part ways in the best interests of the team and wish each other the best for the future," the statement read.

"The club has therefore appointed Shaun Bartlett and Bheka Phakathi as care taker coach."

Abafana Bes'thende are currently last in the Premier Soccer League standings with just 13 points from 17 matches.
